Our food-defence and quality management systems have led to international peer recognition of our product. This recognition includes being nominated for and winning the Australian HACCP Industry Award against a field of international competitors. PUREWATER®’s win remains the only time this award has been made to a business outside Australia or New Zealand. Achieving this recognition is a testimony to our staff and we acknowledge their efforts in contributing to our success.
Our employee of the moment is Maria who’s been with us since 2015. Maria was always interested in our quality assurance program, but was held back by her education level. So, with our support, Maria managed to balance work and family time and complete Year 12 through FODE. She has now taken on the role of QA Supervisor and has just successfully overseen a compliance audit of our HACCP by SAI Global of Australia. She has also been managing a separate audit demonstrating PUREWATER®’s capacity to meet the procurement and supply chain requirements for a major military organisation.
We’re incredibly proud of Maria’s achievements and her learning and development journey so far. Her achievement underscores the notion that with dedication and a steady commitment to worthwhile goals, remarkable things can happen.
